Selamat Datang Ke Taman Rekreasi Ranchan yang terletak 1.5km daripada Bandar Serian, manakala jarak perjalanan dari Bandaraya Kuching adalah sejauh 64km menggunakan kenderaan awam. Taman Rekreasi Ranchan Serian terletak tidak jauh dengan perkampungan masyarakat bidayuh bukar sadong iaitu kpg ranchan dan kpg ampungan.Tempat rekreasi ini masih kekal dengan keadaan semulajadi dan mempunyai udara menyegarkan di pagi hari dan air yang sejuk mengalir menyusuri bongkahan batu-batuan.Tidak hairanlah Taman Rekreasi Ranchan menjadi tumpuan pelancong tidak kira dari dalam ataupun dari luar negeri yang berpusu-pusu mengunjungi taman berkenaan setiap hari. Taman Rekreasi Ranchan ini, menyediakan tempat-tempat beriadah untuk keluarga seperti menyediakan pondok beriadah, tandas awam, tempat parkir kenderaan, dan sebagainya.

DiTaman Rekreasi Ranchan disediakan tempat rumah tumpangan dengan kadar sewa yang berpatutan kepada para pelancong yang ingin bermalam dan terdapat restoran yang menyediakan juadah mengikut selera pelanggan dengan harga berpatutan.Selain rumah tumpangan terdapat juga, jambatan gantung dan menara tinjauan untuk meninjau pemandangan dari atas. Tidak hiranlah Taman Rekreasi Ranchan senantiasa di kunjungi para pelancong asing mahupun tempatan yang ingin merasai pengalaman sendiri menjejakkan kaki mereka ke sini. Walaupun pernah mendengar dari bualan mulut rakan-rakan mereka tentang keindahan yang terdapat di sini.

The main attraction is an excellent farmers' market selling all manner of fruit, vegetables and forest produce, and a thriving fish market. If you are lucky you will also see live sago worms, a favourite local delicacy, offered for sale.
Nearby to the Serian town there is a waterfalls call “Ranchan Pool”. The Serian District Council (SDC) has a number of Chalets at Ranchan Pool, a recreational Park with waterfalls which is about 5km from Serian town. It is easily accessible by road.
Discovered a new group of Rafflesia flower in Bukit Tasau, Kpg Lebor, Gedong Road, Serian. The journey to Bukit Tasau takes about 45 minutes drive from Kuching city to Serian town. Another 30 minutes from Serian town to the junction of Bukit Tasau foothill (Kpg Lebor) and continued by another 20 minutes drive up to the hill and trekking to the Rafflesia area takes about 25 minutes.
